Eons past, eras gone. The First Astral and Umbral eras were the origins of Dragonkind and Mankind on the Source. During this time, the great King of Dragons formed a pact with man which led to a bond between the two species. Several calamities later on, the Allagans would become prominent and invade Meracydia.

Through the war, a researcher would conduct an experiment based around the amplification of Dragon's blood within a humanoid. It was here, that the first ancestors would spread their wings and fly amongst the blanket of stars.

Orphaned and raised under the blanket of stars in Abalathia, this lonesome dragoness was left alone without any recollection of her birth parents, the only distinguishable features being four onyx horns protruding through her pink hair.

Found covered in rags at the foot of an Abalathian Mountain during a lunar eclipse, her finders named her after the unusual stellar occurrence. "Umbra," a shadow cast by the moon during an eclipse.

Most of her childhood was spent in the shrouded settlement of Tailfeather, where she grew up alongside two other orphans under the care of a retired bounty hunter. Within the shrouded forest and dry atmosphere, Umbra adapted to a life in the wilderness. Being a curious spirit and impulsive, many survival skills were grasped and eventually developed her physical prowess.

It was here where she crossed paths with a familiar soul for the first time, only a fleeting moment many cycles ago. An intricate earring crafted by a mutual attraction and a freshly picked carnation was the only recollection of the childhood memories that were lost to time.

Umbra's Beloved...

Viliane has been one of her oldest, if not closest friend to be by her side. Umbra had first met Viliane under the blanket of stars in Tailfeather, being gifted an earring made from a carnation the latter had found. Although their first meeting in these forms had been many moons past, their souls have met many eras ago unbeknownst to their knowledge. Reuniting again nearly a cycle ago, there is yet much to learn about her darling's past in addition to all the secrets she keeps behind a smug personality.

Bounded by fate and bonded by spirit, only through time will their relationship be tested.

A Wandering Skyfarer.

This Keeper was one of the orphans that were cared for under the same roof as Umbra was. One of the Miqo'te that their caretaker had fostered, he grew up with a mischievous personality along with an affinity towards braving the unknowns. Undoubtedly, this is where Umbra dove into the mysteries of ruins explorations and curated a sense of adventure.

Nowadays, W'Nhaya offers his help from the skies, eagerly providing airlifts from anywhere his airships can go.

Leora "Mocha" Zhwan

A Mischievous Miqo'te.

Leora is W'Nhaya's sister, also a former member of the Tailfeather orphans alongside Umbra. She used to be a very sheltered kid, having her brother be overprotective at any given time. Nonetheless, Leora still possessed that curiosity present in the family, collecting flowers and studying the local fauna in the region. Being the first one to move away from the settlement, this Miqo'te now proudly considers herself a modest socialite.

Within the Mists, there coffee shop that she runs as a hobby. Her main career, unknown to anyone else, is a cutthroat bounty huntress.

I'm pretty new to FFXIV [started in 5.25] alongside the RP scene, although the experience has been absolutely amazing so far!
This game is a blast and the friendly side of the community is a massive bonus on top of everything else I've been sticking my head into.
